Where It All Started

Becoming a Marriage Celebrant had been on my heart for many years. I just never seemed to find the right time—or the confidence—to take the leap. Then, in 2021, with encouragement from some wonderful local celebrants and the privilege of officiating a vow renewal for dear friends in Sydney (yes... that's us in the photo above!), everything changed. The spark was lit, and I haven't looked back.

Since beginning my celebrant journey in 2021, I've had the absolute honour of meeting so many wonderful people. Every couple, every family and every ceremony has been unique, and I genuinely love helping people celebrate life's most important moments.

Based in Boyne Island, Central Queensland, I'm always happy to travel—so if your perfect ceremony is somewhere a little further afield, the answer is almost certainly yes!

Over the years I've built extensive experience within the wedding industry, working alongside some of the region's best venues and suppliers. With so many ceremonies under my belt, there's very little that surprises me anymore—so bring me your ideas, your traditions, your crazy concepts or your "we're not really sure what we want yet." Chances are I've done something similar before, and if I haven't, I'd love to help make it happen.

Whether you're planning a simple legal ceremony with just the two of you and your witnesses, an intimate elopement, or a celebration with hundreds of family and friends, every couple receives the same personalised attention, care and commitment. I'm a proud member of the Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants (AFCC), giving you the added peace of mind that I have a strong network of professional celebrants who could step in should the unexpected ever happen.

People often describe me as warm, organised and easy to talk to. I have a great sense of humour (I still think I'm pretty funny!), I'm confident behind a microphone, I'm a stickler for detail and communication is one of my greatest strengths. It's also why my MC services have become increasingly popular. Having your celebrant continue into the reception means one less thing for your family or bridal party to worry about. Your guests can relax and enjoy the celebration, knowing someone experienced is keeping everything running smoothly while maintaining the same fun, relaxed atmosphere from ceremony through to reception.

For many couples, this is the first wedding they've ever planned, so I never expect you to know what comes next. I'll guide you through every step, answer every question (no matter how many!) and make the entire process feel easy and enjoyable.
